Mint Chutney
This is a recipe from my mom. It is flavorful and packed with healthy ingredients that aid digestion and reduce inflammation. The chutney can be used as a condiment, a sauce, a dressing or a marinade.
Ingredients
- 1 bunch Mint Leaves
- 1/2 bunch Cilantro stems and leaves (chopped)
- 1 Raw mango (peeled and sliced)
- 1 Small Tomato (chopped)
- 1 Gooseberry
- 1 Ginger - ½ inch piece
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 1 Juice from 1/2 Lime
- 2 tsp Cumin seeds
- 2 Green chilis (add more if you like it spicy)
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Blend everything together except mint and coriander.
- Once done, add mint and coriander and blend again really well until there are no pieces left.
- Store in a glass jar in the refrigerator for up to one week.
